As we continue to scale, we are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team and support our mission of operational and financial excellence.

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist , you will play a critical role in the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate and timely billing, managing collections, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will bring a customer-first mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving billing discrepancies and outstanding balances.

Generate and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies between billing and payments.

Monitor aging reports and actively follow up on past-due accounts.

Contact customers via email and phone to collect outstanding receivables while maintaining positive client relationships.

Apply cash receipts, credit memos, and adjustments in the ERP system.

Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and other internal departments to resolve disputes and ensure client satisfaction.

Assist in month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for audits and reporting.

Support continuous process improvements and contribute to team efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX / internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.

Required :

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.

Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Preferred :

Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.

Prior experience in construction / project-based AR processes.

Competitive Compensation : Hourly pay range of $22-24 / hr, commensurate with experience.
