We are currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding home health care team.

Position Summary :

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic interventions that help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence. You will play a vital role in helping individuals recover safely and comfortably at home, with accurate documentation completed in the Net Health EMR system.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide in-home physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising PT

Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, coordination, and physical function

Teach exercises and provide caregiver education to support patient goals

Monitor and document patient progress using the Net Health EMR system

Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other members of the care team

Ensure treatment is delivered in compliance with physician orders, agency policies, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Current and unrestricted PTA license in Pennsylvania

CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Home health experience preferred but not required – we provide training

Comfortable with EMRs; Net Health experience is a plus

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in the field
