A Typical Day :

As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will be at the forefront of assisting clients in making informed financial decisions. You’ll cultivate long-lasting client relationships while being supported by a knowledgeable team dedicated to your success.

In this role, you will :

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in-person or through virtual platforms such as video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare accurate and thorough tax returns tailored to specific client needs.
• Drive business growth by enhancing client retention and introducing additional services and products.
• Offer support to clients with IRS inquiries and concerns.
• Assist with tax notice services at all certification levels.
• Provide audit representation if you hold Circular 230 certification.
• Mentor and assist fellow team members.
• Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Bring your experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax to the table.
• Demonstrate experience in preparing individual tax returns.
• Thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
• Utilize virtual tools confidently to communicate effectively with clients.
• Meet IRS and applicable state qualifications.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (a higher degree is a plus).

Pay Range Information : The anticipated pay range for this position is provided below. Individual pay decisions will consider job-related factors, such as experience and education. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to engage in incentive compensation plans, potentially enhancing overall earnings.

Pay Range : $11.00 - $80.00 / Hr.
