Civil Consulting Firm in Maryland is looking for an employee with high integrity and an attention to detail to be a land Survey Instrument Operator. This is a permanent position in which all medical is paid, vacation / sick, and 401k.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• 3-15+ years experience working on a survey crew for a Civil Engineering Firm.
• Experience with topos, boundaries, and surveying.
• Perform mathematical calculations and field checking of data.
• Take accurate and clear notes and perform note reduction.
• Well versed with staking, marking plans, and specifications.
• Experience in controlling the function of surveying instruments and calculators.
• Valid Driver's License.
