Position Overview :

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Cost / Inventory Accountant to join their dynamic team in California. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in full-cycle accounting and a knack for cost and inventory accounting, particularly within the manufacturing sector. Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities :

• Overseeing full-cycle accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Managing cost and inventory accounting tasks efficiently.
• Utilizing system knowledge to enhance accounting operations.
• Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure financial data integrity.
• Analyzing cost data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed financial reports and statements.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications :

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits.
