Senior Accountant

Location : Lake Success, NY (On-site)

Role : Accounting Supervisor / Senior Accountant

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant to join a well-established team in Lake Success. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, SEC reporting, and team oversight. You'll play a key role in monthly close processes, financial reporting, and mentoring junior staff.

What You'll Do :

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including AP / AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, consolidations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee foreign and domestic entity reporting, including intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support tax preparation efforts.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and executive reporting.
