Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to established safety protocols including infection control, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to maintain a secure care environment.
- Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and educate patients and families to support positive health outcomes.
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance quality, and ensure safety, communicating findings effectively with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate closely with supervising RNs or shift managers to meet patient needs and maintain high standards of care.
- Document all care activities and quality measures accurately to support clinical decisions and compliance.

Education
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program is required.
Experience
At least one year of practical nursing experience is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Current LPN license valid in the state or through compact licensure.Graduate Practical Nurses must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Physical and Mental Requirements
This role requires considerable mental focus and physical activity including lifting up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, and various movements such as pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
