Job Summary
Responsible for carrying out set plans and leading department activities such as huddles and coordination of labor during their shift to ensure all hospital areas are safe, orderly and in sanitary condition in the absence of the supervisor. Does this position require Patient Care? No

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
40 hour Day shift
Licenses and Credentials
Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
Pest Control Technician [Massachusetts License] - Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, Pesticide Program preferred
Experience
Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital mission, vision, values statements, standards, policies and procedures, confidentiality, corporate compliance plan, customer service standards, and ethical behavior.
Collaborates with multiple disciplines to effectively and efficiently provide patient care and achieve the desired patient outcome.
Applies critical thinking to assess, plan, and implement day-to-day operations, and communicates updates to team members knowledge of health and sanitation standards, physical stamina, ability to operate heavy machines, familiarity with industrial cleaners and chemicals, and the willpower to work effectively with various populations.
