Senior Tax Manager – Private Equity & Hedge Fund

Vested Search is partnering with a US‑HQ private equity and hedge fund seeking to fill a newly created Senior Tax Manager position in their New York office.

This role will oversee a series of tax compliance and corporate tax initiatives for their global portfolio of alternative assets in collaboration with the Head of Tax and Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Investor tax estimates, K‑1s, PFIC statements, and tax returns for funds and management company / GP vehicles; manage co‑sourcing arrangements with external tax service providers.
• International tax compliance, including 8865, 5472, FACTA and CRS reporting, and ECI / FDAP calculations.
• Partner with finance, operations, legal, investments, and treasury functions to implement processing controls.

Individuals should have a strong grounding in tax compliance and fund taxation within the investment management industry.
