A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Mechanical Designer

Position type : Full Time, Contract to hire

Duration : 6 months

Location : Anaheim, CA, 92806

As a Mechanical Designer you will be responsible for :

• Performs the preparation of required 3D models and drawings using Solidworks.
• Prepares precision mechanical design layout per verbal instructions, mechanical sketches, existing hardware or engineering lab models, received from both mechanical and electrical engineering and / or other technical support personnel
• Completes the preparation of the necessary technical documentation for the release of Mechanical Hardware designs into the company documentation control system
• Assists engineering in the preparation of documentation for the revision of drawings, previously released to the document control system. Understands the value of cooperating with coworkers.
• Understands the importance of monitoring the status and quality of one's own work.

Appreciates the importance of basing decisions on information and sound logic.

The ideal candidate will have :

Proficiency in SolidWorks

Understanding of machinery design

Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
