Responsibilities
Work with VRS business unit personnel, and other stakeholders to extract data from legacy systems and transform it into a format compatible with Workday HCM.
Define and document the mapping of data fields between legacy systems and Workday's data structures.
Ensure the transformed data that is ready to be loaded into Workday is accurate, complete, and adheres to data quality standards through various validation techniques.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Work closely with the data team to ensure data integrity, quality, and availability.
Monitor ETL pipelines for performance and troubleshoot any issues or bottlenecks.
Optimize data processing workflows to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Document ETL processes and maintain best practices for data integration.
Identify and resolve data-related issues that arise during the conversion process.
Maintain detailed documentation of data mapping, transformation rules, and validation procedures.
Develop and run test cases and scripts
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or closely related field
- Total 6 (six) years’ experience in data conversion / ETL projects with at least three (3) years in migrating data from legacy systems to Workday HCM.
- Previous experience in migrations working with Kronos, Cornerstone, and Workday is a plus
