Purpose and Job Summary
The Post-Production Transactions Closing Analyst II will assist with facilitating and processing the closing of post-closing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Multifamily and Healthcare transaction requests within LUMENT. Specifically, the candidate’s primary responsibility is to : 1) own the pre-closing, closing, and post-closing requirements for loan assumptions and transfer of interest requests; 2) facilitate third party engagements, follow up on timing via management of the transaction, and ensure they meet requirements and required deadlines; 3) work in tandem with the other members of the deal team on all assigned transactions to ensure a smooth closing and hand off process, relaying appropriate information to appropriate parties in a timely manner. This role will can be located in Kansas City, Columbus, Dallas, or Remote and will report directly to the Team Lead of the Transactions Closing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and closes straightforward assumptions and transfers of interest unassisted
- Proficient and proactive in independently following up for all steps of the transaction process
- Establishes full working knowledge of all assigned deals
- Volunteers and delivers on special projects
- Suggests updates to the processes and procedures to effectuate further efficiencies
- Independently navigates PSA / SSAs, Purchase and Sale Agreements, and Agency / HUD loan documents (loan terms, dates / deadlines, wiring instructions, fee splits)
- Creates signature page packages and third-party engagement packages independently
- Anticipates future needs of the client and deal team
- Demonstrates an understanding of and ability to use multiple systems across multiple platforms, both internal and external
- Works professionally and harmoniously with team members and colleagues across other Lument teams
- Other projects and duties as assigned

Education, Skills and Experience
Required
