Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative plays a key role as the face of the organization, interacting directly with patients for both routine health checkups and critical diagnostic testing. This position involves drawing quality blood samples , preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and patient trust. The role demands exceptional phlebotomy skills , attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while delivering an excellent patient experience. Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  • Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and signatures post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Travel as needed to multiple locations and provide coverage at short notice.

Required Experience :

  • Minimum of years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Experience in a Patient Service Center environment (minimum years preferred).
  • Strong customer service background, preferably in retail or service environments.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry.
  • Nice-to-Have Experience :

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, and WA; preferred in other locations).
  • Required Skills :

  • Excellent phlebotomy skills (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary).
  • Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings.
