Position Summary
The Equipment Coordinator will collaborate with SCM to source all parts and supplies, create requisitions, and track the procurement lifecycle in support of Survey Services equipment. Ensuring critical supply dates are met will require collaboration across existing stakeholders within Survey Services and SCM. They will also coordinate domestic and international equipment shipments.
The Equipment Coordinator will also work closely with the other Equipment Coordinators to maintain an accurate and up to date asset database.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Review all part and supply requests with Equipment Manager.
- Collaborate with Engineering on technical drawings and equipment builds.
- Create all requisitions and collaborate with SCM to ensure supply deadlines are met.
- Create waybills and travel requisitions for equipment movements.
- Collaborate with SCM to create Oceaneering part numbers for all items.
- Ensure part numbers are updated when there are changes in models or specifications.
- Ensure equipment certifications are up to date.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date asset database.
- Maintain OMS maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with equipment rental vendors to meet project requirements.
- Maintain equipment checklists for all equipment.
- NC and CAPA management.
- QC all items from the refurb shop.
- Rotating call for weekend and after hours.
- Manage software and equipment licenses.
- Provide support to technical workshop by assisting with equipment repair and readiness as needed to ensure timely equipment delivery.
- Ensure "ready to serve" equipment is functional before delivery.
LONG TERM :
Support for US, Canada, Mexico, Guyana, and EMEA equipment needs.Support for US / UK rental requisitions for Brazil.Assist in integration of OII Operational Technology (OT) and security standards.Qualifications
REQUIRED :
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).Three (3) years oilfield experience with a knowledge of subsea equipment preferred.Self-driven with the tenacity to work independently.Able to receive direction and apply imagination to completion.Excellent communication skills (oral and written).DESIRED :
Two (2) year Technical Degree in electronics or maritime electronics.12 months of formal mechanical, electrical and / or electronics training or equivalent military training.Forklift Certification.Three (3) years offshore survey experience with knowledge of subsea positioning.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS :

Position is based in Morgan City, LA with occasional travel to various ports of mobilization or other Oceaneering facilities.
