The role : As the Chief Nursing Officer of the Providence Clinical Network for the EWA / MT Region, you will spearhead the development and execution of clinical strategy and infrastructure. Your leadership will guide nursing and clinical operations across our medical groups, representing clinical operations at the executive level.
What you'll do : Strategic visionary : Shape and implement a clinical strategy that optimizes value by reviewing cost, quality, safety, and patient experience. Promote a nurturing environment defined by health, hope, and mutual respect. Collaborative leader : Work closely with leaders across the Service Area to achieve organizational goals. Ensure balanced, efficient patient care and build cooperative partnerships with other departments and professional groups. Quality & safety advocate : Direct ongoing programs to measure, analyze, and improve nursing care quality and safety. Foster a team-based approach to care and manage change constructively. Developing and mentoring leaders : Cultivate and support clinical leaders through development programs. Shared services model development : Innovate shared services to enhance efficiency across the Service Area. Caregiver & patient engagement : Champion initiatives to increase engagement and satisfaction. Clinical role development oversight : Guide the evolution of clinical roles through workflow design, practice efficiency, education, and safety programs. Leadership in nursing services : Supervise nursing services, infection prevention, and risk & safety initiatives.
What you'll bring : Education : Bachelor's degree in nursing; Master's degree in nursing, nurse management, business, healthcare administration, or related field. Experience : 10+ years in healthcare administration, with 5+ years in a nursing, finance, or operations director role. Certification : Specialty certification (CENP, NEA-BC) preferred upon hire.
