My client is seeking an Entry-Level Cash Accountant to join their team at their Reston, VA HQ. n this critical role, you'll gain hands-on experience in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting business operations-all while contributing to the financial success of our organization. What You'll Do :

• Prepare and post daily journal entries to ensure accurate recording of cash activity.
• Reconcile positive pay information between bank records and company systems.
• Process and reconcile cash receipts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain and oversee the organization's check stock.
• Handle the escheatment of uncashed checks in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist with monthly accounting close procedures, ensuring financial records are accurate and complete.
• Respond to inquiries from Treasury and collaborate with other business areas to address financial questions.
• Contribute to other tasks and projects as needed.
