In the role of Mechanical Engineer, we'll count on you to :
- Coordinate the work of the Mechanical design team with the balance of a multidisciplinary team throughout the entire project's development
- Assess and design a wide range of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
- Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
- Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect, and other disciplines
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule
- Review mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
- Write and edit mechanical specifications and select equipment, mechanical systems, and other devices
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule
- Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, and incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents
- Provide construction contract administration as needed
- Conduct QA / QC on the work of other Mechanical Project Engineers, Mechanical Project Coordinators, or Mechanical BIM Technicians as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasisBachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasisRevit MEP experience preferredCommercial / institutional experience in healthcare is a plusExperience and / or interest in sustainable design / LEED desired but not requiredPrevious experience with an architectural / engineering or engineering consulting firm5+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing system designRequired Qualifications
