Project Superintendent

Megen Construction Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Project Superintendent to join our team for the construction of a multi-family project in Fort Myers, Florida. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all field operations of this project from start to finish. This IS NOT A TRAVELING SUPERINTENDENT position. Job Responsibilities : Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings Ensure project is completed on time and within budget Manage day to day and overall project schedule. Complete detailed daily reports in Procore and manage subcontractor daily report entries. Issue updated look-ahead schedules for weekly Trade Partner and OAC meetings. Review and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Manage the RFI process. Work with the Project Management team to ensure all of the following requirements are met : : project deadlines, milestones, Trade Partner performance quality standards invoicing / cash flow requirements safety requirements Manage Trade Partners and vendors Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including collecting and saving mandatory daily subcontractor JSAs. Prepare and submit progress reports Utilize Bluebeam software for project documentation Handle submittals and change orders efficiently Qualifications : 8+ years of experience managing all on-site day to day operations of ground-up projects with budgets in excess of $30MM. Strong knowledge of construction management principles Procore advanced competency OSHA 30 certification Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with Bluebeam, submittals, and change orders. Advanced skills using mobile technologies. Fluent in Spanish and English Company Information : Megen Construction Company was founded in 1993 by Evans Nwankwo.
