Position Summary The Environmental Science Research Assistant has two different positions available. One Assistant will collect and analyze earthquake data using MATLAB scripts. A second Assistant will use petrographic microscopy to interpret microstructures in rocks retrieved from subduction zones. Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Required Education Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics for both positions. Required Work Experience None. Preferred Qualifications Introductory course work in Geology or Environmental Science. Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations None. Work Hours 10 to 20 hours per week Physical Demands None
