About the Role

We're seeking an experienced marketing and communications leader (5-10 years experience) to shape our public image and drive engagement across all stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications :
- 5-10 years marketing / communications experience; previous school setting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail
- Expertise with Adobe Suite Design and content creation
- Experience working with multiple constituent groups and understanding their needs
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities
- Deep knowledge of Jewish culture and community with the ability to bring authentic Jewish voice to communications
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership :
Design and implement comprehensive marketing plan with measurable goals and strategiesServe as key school ambassador, fostering relationships with parents, staff, and broader communityCollaborate with Head of School, Board members, faculty, and administrative staff on strategic communicationsManage and delegate tasks effectively to a small teamContent Creation & Management :
Oversee and create all aspects of school website, social media channels, and marketing materialsLead content creation for newsletters, grade-level updates, and emergency notificationsProduce Annual Report, Strategic Plan, and other key internal and external publicationsCreate photography and video content, including editing and post-productionMarketing & Recruitment :
Partner with admissions office to design and evaluate student recruitment campaignsDevelop digital advertising strategies using Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics toolsTrack and analyze engagement data to improve communication effectivenessRepresent school at industry events and stay current on independent school marketing trendsEvent Marketing :
Oversee and create marketing and promotion for Annual Gala, Generations Day, Graduation, and all other school eventsCollaborate with advancement team on donor, alumni, and community eventsEnsure all communications align with school's brand and Jewish missionOperations :
Maintain highest level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive informationBalance multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlinesEnsure cohesive, impactful messaging across all platformsTechnical Skills :
CRM and student information systems (Blackbaud preferred)Email marketing platforms (Campaign Monitor)Website management (Finalsite experience a plus)Adobe Creative Suite proficiencyPhotography / videography and editing skillsDigital advertising tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Analytics)Basic HTML / CSS knowledgeCompensation
Salary : $100,000–$120,000
