Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with a FP&A, CFO, Controller, or Consultant title Experience with financial operations with small to mid-sized businesses (between $3 and $50 million in revenue) Previous business owner or entrepreneurial experience considered a plus Proven track record of driving financial performance improvement through financial analysis Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships Experience working with data analytics tools to extract and interpret financial trends Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and manage multiple client engagements Must reside in Texas, Georgia, or Colorado

About The Herring Group
The Herring Group is a professional services and data analytics firm. Our team serves as outsourced financial leaders for landscape companies. We focus on the strategies and tactics that help optimize the profit margin of companies, the life margin of owners and executives, and the autonomy of employees.
This is a 100% remote position that provides location flexibility to work from home (anywhere in Texas, Georgia, or Colorado) approximately 30 hours per week, during business hours.
