About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Strategic Partnerships to play a pivotal role in advancing its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying and cultivating relationships that integrate mycorrhizal science into real-world environmental practices. This senior position demands an individual with a strong scientific background, a minimum of 7 years' experience in partnership or business development, and a proven track record of formalizing strategic agreements, preferably in environmental or scientific sectors. The role involves representing the company in high-level discussions, designing partnership frameworks, and managing a portfolio of opportunities to ensure the integration of mycorrhizal data into various environmental and climate-related frameworks. Applicants for the Head of Strategic Partnerships role at the company should possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences, and experience in contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of ecosystem services valuation, conservation finance, regenerative agriculture, climate policy frameworks, or related fields. A self-directed and entrepreneurial approach is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. The role also requires the candidate to be comfortable with public speaking and to have a senior-level presence, capable of representing the organization's strategy without supervision. A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field, experience with international partnerships, and familiarity with biodiversity conservation frameworks and climate commitments are preferred qualifications.
