Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Electronics PCB Technician with hands-on experience working with Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in diagnosing and repairing electronic components, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and other electronic hardware
- Perform soldering (through-hole and surface mount) and desoldering of components as needed
- Read and interpret electronic schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Conduct functional and diagnostic testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment
- Identify faulty components down to the board level and provide effective repair solutions
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing, and quality control checks
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in electronics preferred2+ years of experience working with PCBs in a manufacturing or repair environmentStrong soldering skills and knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 a plus)Proficiency using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzersAbility to diagnose electronic faults at the component levelStrong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordinationCan pass drug and background checksWorking hours 6 am - 3 : 30 pm
