Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Rockford, Illinois.

OR Surgical Tech – Swedish American Hospital

Location : Rockford, IL (Must live 50+ miles away)

Shift : 10-hour Days (0630–1700 or 0900–1930, flex shift)

Schedule : 4x10s + rotational call coverage

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 per week

Position Summary :

We’re looking for an experienced Operating Room Tech able to scrub independently and proficient in multiple surgical specialties :

  • Ortho / Podiatry
  • Robotics
  • Spine / Neuro
  • Gynecology
  • General Surgery
  • Plastics
  • Urology / Cystoscopy
  • Vascular (AAA, Aorto-Femoral bypass, A-V shunts, etc.)
  • Organ procurement experience is a plus

    • Key Details :

  • Call Requirement : 1 call per week (may include Saturday or Sunday, never both); weekend call is 24 hours
  • No open-heart cases — CV team handles those
  • Must be competent across all listed specialties
  • No local candidates within 50 miles

    • Requirements :

  • 2+ years of recent OR Tech experience
  • Proficiency in a wide range of surgical specialties
  • Ability to scrub independently
  • Current certifications as required by facility
