Registered Nurse Float Critical Care

Critical Care Float may be required to float medical / surgical as needed. Summary Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and skill competency. Minimum Qualifications Must possess a current license to practice professional nursing or a temporary practice permit in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and the ability to adapt to individual needs. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system. The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations. BLS required. Preferred Qualifications One to three years of clinical experience in a related field. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
