We have an immediate opening for a Level I Tank, Void, Topside Assessment Technician to support our Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Code 242 customer in Norfolk, VA.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Provide technical assistance, assessments, inspection, troubleshooting, corrective actions, adjustments / repairs, and grooms on shipboard tanks, voids, and topside structure and coatings
• Use appropriate measuring / test equipment to obtain data for evaluation
• Provide written visit debrief and written reports
• Attend conferences and meetings
• Provide On-The-Job Training to the ship's force during shipboard evolutions
• Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and sketches
