Key Details - Assignment Type : Locum Tenens - Setting : Outpatient Clinic - Start Date : ASAP - Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM; No weekends, holidays, or on-call - Patient Population : All Ages - Location : Chicago, IL - Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage - Supportive credentialing assistance - Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) - Flexible scheduling (optional if applicable) Job Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care by diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions. - Conduct pelvic exams, Pap smears, and STI screening / treatment with a focus on preventive care. - Collaborate with University Counseling and Psychological Services for integrated mental health care. - Lead health education initiatives and emergency response. - Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to prescribing protocols. Qualifications - Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. - Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. - Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. - DEA License and CPR / BLS certification. - Experience with EHR systems and telemedicine. - Preferred : Experience with LGBTQ inclusive care, supervisory roles, and additional board certifications.
