About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Tax Alternative Investments. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse range of clients, including those in the venture capital, private equity, hedge fund, and real estate sectors. This role involves ensuring that clients meet all tax obligations while minimizing their tax and reporting burdens. The Managing Director will lead a team of tax professionals, manage complex engagements, and build and maintain client relationships. Additionally, the role includes identifying and implementing efficient tax strategies and supervising a team of senior managers, managers, and associates.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics, with a Master's degree in accounting or taxation preferred. A minimum of 10 years' relevant tax experience is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in the financial services industry, particularly in alternative investment funds. Proficiency in the taxation of partnerships is also preferred. The role demands a CPA, licensed attorney, or IRS enrolled agent, with additional certifications such as CFP or a Master's in tax being advantageous. The ideal candidate will have superior communication, analytical, and decision-making skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team and client relationships.
