Job Description

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver Full-Time in Friendswood, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Thur 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and / or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
  • Assist with access control, verifying credentials and directing individuals as needed.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any observed theft or policy violations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to address concerns and maintain a professional environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
