Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud GL & Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) Lead to join a 1-year, hybrid contract engagement at a Big Four client. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle Cloud General Ledger and FAH implementation, configuration, and solution design. This role requires a proactive professional capable of leading design workshops, assessing client requirements, and guiding the redesign of Chart of Accounts (COA) structures to optimize financial reporting and integration processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end implementation efforts for Oracle Fusion Cloud GL and Financial Accounting Hub .
- Conduct detailed assessments of existing Chart of Accounts (COA) and lead redesign initiatives to align with best practices and business needs.
- Facilitate client workshops, design sessions, and requirement-gathering meetings independently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data and reporting within Oracle Cloud.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, test scripts, and process flows.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
- Provide strategic guidance on Oracle Cloud financial architecture and process optimization.
Requirement Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) modules.Proven success leading COA redesign projects and driving client-facing design discussions.Strong understanding of financial accounting principles , integrations, and reporting requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to facilitate workshops and convey complex concepts clearly.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.Willingness to travel up to 50% to Montgomery, AL .Preferred Skills & Qualifications :
Oracle Cloud certification(s) in Financials (GL, FAH, or related areas).Experience with multi-ledger, multi-currency, and intercompany accounting setups.Prior consulting or client-facing implementation experience.Experience with data conversion, reconciliation, and integration to upstream / downstream systems.
