Evolve Treatment Centers is hiring for a LVN based out of our Encinitas locations. Our team provides cutting edge residential and outpatient treatment to adolescents struggling with addiction and mental illness. Our rapidly growing company is looking for those who are highly qualified and passionate mental health professionals to join our team!

We are looking for candidates that can stay calm during stressful situations, those that take initiative and maintains appropriate boundaries with clients.
Essential Functions :
- Direct patient care and assessment; including the reporting of observed changes in mental status and / or physical condition, response to emergencies, and safety risks
- Completes documentation in an efficient and timely manner, including nursing assessments, transcription of M.D.s' phone orders
- Knowledge of medication administration records, vital sign monitoring
- Attendance and participation in terms of treatment planning and professional staff meetings
- Call in medications to pharmacy and pick up
- Provides in service training to technical staff on medications, documentation, and monitoring of vital signs
- Provides ongoing patient education on all aspects of medications and other health issues including hygiene
- Monitors supplies and reports needs to Facility Manager
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and educational support to patients and families
- Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures
- Maintains continuity among nurses by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to weekend nurse

Valid California Nursing License LVN / LPTCurrent CPR / BLS cardMinimum of one year experience as a working nurse. Psych or chemical dependence background preferredGood communication skills and basic computer literacyBenefits :
