Audio Visual Warehouse Dispatcher - Las Vegas, NV

Job Location : Las Vegas, NV Office

We supply many of the nation’s largest companies with complete audio-visual and computer rental equipment and services. Each Rentex warehouse contains a large inventory of high-quality, name-brand, and reliable audio visual & computer rental equipment. We have offices across the US and we are growing!

The San Francisco office, located in Union City, CA, has an immediate opening for an entry-level full-time Warehouse Dispatcher. Rentex pays competitively and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that all drivers are leaving the warehouse at the correct time, with the correct orders, and with the correct paperwork.
  • Contact clients to confirm delivery / pick-up information.
  • Monitor driver locations throughout the day.
  • Maintain accurate and current driver logs and other department reports.
  • Facilitate last-minute orders and adjust the trucking plan accordingly.
  • Solve unexpected challenges related to trucking; anticipate future issues and actively work to prevent them.
  • Plan routes for 7 days in advance.
  • Book and coordinate couriers when necessary.
  • Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate truck rental when the business need arises.
  • Facilitate DOT Driver Training and ensure accountability for DOT compliance and reporting.
  • Collaborate with National DOT compliance officer.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Basic knowledge in set-up, operation, troubleshooting, and delivery of computer and audio-visual equipment.
  • Prior experience in live event production and delivering to hotels and convention centers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

    • Requirements :

  • Possess a valid in-state driver’s license to operate vehicles up to 25,999 pounds.
  • Possess a DOT medical card, and a clean driving record for the past 3-5 years; no DUIs.
  • Three (3) years verifiable experience driving cargo vans, cube trucks, box trucks, and straight trucks up to 26’.
