Customer Service Representative
Location : Houston, TX 77040 | Full-Time | Onsite
Pay : $20-$25
About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role combines customer support with data entry in QuickBooks , processing purchase orders , and some inside sales responsibilities . Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Enter and maintain accurate data in QuickBooks , including invoices, payments, and purchase orders.
Handle inside sales functions , including creating and processing purchase orders.
Track orders, prepare quotes, and follow up with customers on inquiries and status updates.
Communicate with vendors and customers to ensure accuracy of orders and documentation.
Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for correspondence, reports, and order management.
Maintain organized records and documentation with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role .
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (data entry, invoicing, POs).
Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) .
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred
Experience in an inside sales or order entry role .
Prior exposure to distribution, manufacturing, or similar environments.
