The Salisbury VA Health Care System is actively seeking a Part-Time Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine / Upper Extremity to join our dedicated orthopedic team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those who have served our country. This position is based at the Charlotte Health Care Center and operates under the overall management of the Section Chief of Orthopedics.

Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive surgical and clinical services for sports-related injuries and upper extremity conditions.

• Ensure compliance with established policies within the Department of Surgery / Orthopedic section.

Requirements :

Full, unrestricted medical license in any State.

U.S. Citizenship :

Non-citizens may be appointed only when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

Preferred Experience :

Board Certified and Fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine or Upper Extremity Surgery.

Academic Affiliation :

Atrium Wake Forest Baptist and Atrium Affiliations.

Compensation & Benefits Package :

Pay :  $300,000-$400,000
