Program Manager
The Program Manager will develop and review all relevant medical affairs content, including abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters / presentations, graphical abstracts, systematic literature reviews, plain language summaries, slide decks, medical education resources, social media, infographics, video, multi-media and other types of external-facing medical content for an assigned area / product.
Independent writing and development of drafts including researching, organizing, compiling, interpreting and quality check of various types of technical and / or medical information with limited support from internal reviewers.
Review of drafts includes checking content pieces developed by other team members for clarity, perspective, accuracy, appropriateness for target audience, and overall quality, in line with all applicable guidelines and internal checklists.
Train other team members in processes, and overall writing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Serve as a functional expert for the product (within the therapeutic area) and support junior team members to enhance familiarity with product specific communication requirements.
Provide solutions to authors for projects and collaborate with other teams to drive these solutions (Graphics, Compliance agency, Statistics teams, etc.). Maintain open & independent communication with authors and stakeholders within the MCC team.
Ensure delivery of all projects within expected timelines while adhering to all quality and compliance requirements for medical content.
Ensure training on relevant tools and processes, including new generative AI technology platforms, that ensure efficient and compliant execution of all medical affairs content.
Track the progress of all assigned projects. Resolve any issues / problems with guidance from the Senior Manager / Team Lead.
Identify and train to become an expert on one new tool / skill for content creation representing the latest trends in the industry. Ensure training across the broader MCCS team.
