Field Claims Adjuster
The Field Claims Adjuster supports the Field Supervisor staff while focusing on completing the necessary field and Xactimate training program as well as obtaining all licensing requirements.
Job Responsibilities :
- Requires extensive travel, as all field training is performed on-site at deployed events with management staff present.
- Evolves into an inventory control role where the associate will deploy to a directed area in the country and manage a volume of claims by completing field inspections and compiling related final reports.
- Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
- Completes follow up tasks on files.
- Requires a thorough knowledge of building nomenclature.
- Contributes to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively uses tools and technology.
- Supports workload surges and / or catastrophe events.
- Effectively discover, report, and resolve issues, complaints and escalations.
Minimum Requirements :
High School Diploma or GEDComputer literate in a Windows operating environment.This position requires an Insurance Adjuster's license. If you do not have, we will facilitate.Strong customer service, communication, organizational skills.Ability to work independently with routine and / or repetitive activities but also be responsive to disruption and change.Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process / systems for overall improvement of the organization.Must be accurate and detail-oriented.Ability to learn new technologies.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word.Must have a good driving record.Preferred :
College DegreePrior property claims review and / or adjusting experience.Two or more years of customer service experience.Experience using XactAnalysis and Xactimate.Active adjuster's License.Prior military experience.Thorough knowledge of building nomenclature and familiarity with estimating platforms.Benefits :
