We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. This role is integral to our firm's success, serving as the main point of contact for clients and playing a crucial role in managing their cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing top-notch service to our clients, have a keen eye for detail, and possess a deep understanding of personal injury and litigation. Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Case Manager, your day-to-day tasks will include :
1. Managing a portfolio of personal injury cases, ensuring that each case is handled efficiently and effectively.
2. Serving as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, and other relevant parties.
3. Gathering, organizing, and maintaining all case-related documents and information.
4. Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
5. Coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials.
6. Keeping clients informed of case progress, answering their queries, and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
7. Collaborating with attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure that all necessary steps are taken to advance cases towards resolution.
8. Staying updated on the latest developments in personal injury law and litigation procedures.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this role, you must have :
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry, specifically dealing with personal injury and litigation.
2. A bachelor’s degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field. A paralegal certificate is a plus.
3. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal information to clients and other parties.
5. Proficiency in using legal software and technologies for case management and document handling.
6. A strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and the rules of evidence.
7. A proven track record of successfully managing personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
9. A high level of professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
