Base pay range

$72,800.00 / yr - $95,680.00 / yr

Reporting to the Executive Director of Epic Patient Financial Services – PB, the Senior Epic Operations Analyst serves as the preeminent Epic analytical resource tasked with improving revenue results and operational efficiencies for all One BILH Epic Professional Billing Revenue Cycle entities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, and implement changes to support all Epic Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, Remittance, and Router applications, including ongoing production maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide initial recommendations for planning, design, development, build, and configuration of all Resolute Professional Billing applications; present to the Senior Epic Operations Analyst for approval before presenting to leadership.
  • Use internal and external resources to recommend system requirements, mitigating potential impacts for PFS management and end‑users.
  • Act as Epic liaison to IT Epic support, vendor management, and operational departments, determining requirements and designing scalable, sustainable, data‑integrity solutions.
  • Manage assigned Professional Billing Epic Remedy tickets to completion, prioritize ServiceNow tickets submitted to PB IT, and report weekly priorities to IT management.
  • Validate and approve all testing and build changes before moving to Epic production for all assigned tickets.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of training related to Epic Resolute Professional Billing and end‑user workflows.
  • Review Epic upgrade features with IT, participate in the full review of upgrade opportunities, and recommend feature utilization.
  • Provide go‑live support during Epic implementation, upgrades, and new build enhancements.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis of denials to reduce denials and manual rework, implementing best Epic practices and reporting findings to the SEOA and leadership.
  • Assist in the oversight and management of external system charge applications and tools.
  • Evaluate adequacy of internal controls and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (required).
  • Epic Revenue Cycle Proficiency : Professional Billing Application, PB CDM, PB Charge Capture, PB Charge Router, claims and remittance (preferred).
  • 5+ years of clinical, healthcare operations, and healthcare information technology experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting; ability to understand and document business processes; multi‑tasking; large project management.
  • Strong independent work, prioritization, and organizational skills; excellent communication.
  • Pay Range

    $72,800.00 USD – $95,680.00 USD per year.
