Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for receipting, posting and reviewing daily vendor invoices and ensuring there is adequate supporting documentation. Responsible for investigating and resolving problem invoices.

Qualifications

Education Required

  • Must complete in-house orientation program
  • High School Degree.

Experience And Skills

  • Speaks, reads and writes English
  • Some business courses and computer knowledge preferred.
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable preferred
  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
