Summary Reporting to the Lead Instructional Technologist, the Instructional Technologist is responsible for providing specialized support, service, and professional development for faculty and adjunct instructors in the area of technology for teaching and learning.

Responsibilities Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University’s Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
- Provide support to faculty in the use of educational technology in online, blended, and LMS enhanced face-to-face courses
- Assist in the creation of instructional materials and user guides
- Collaborate with the Senior Academic Technologist to assist in delivering workshops for faculty, including but not limited to the blackboard orientation and the online teaching certification
- Assist with design and structure of online, blended, and web-supported courses
- Provide back-up support for LMS Administrator
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Faculty Center on various projects
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Experience with Learning Management System and the associated tools. Must be self-motivated and possess the ability and willingness to learn new technology. Ability to complete projects independently, consistently meeting specified expectations and deadlines. Must have excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to identify and resolve technology issues related to Learning Management Systems. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree preferred. Knowledge / experience with Blackboard Learn Original and Ultra preferred. Essential Duties Work hours Full time Posting Detail Information
