Job Summary

The SR Companies' Chief Accounting Officer is a mission-driven and detail-orientedexecutive that leads and oversees the integrity of all accounting operations for multiple businesses and entities. The CAO ensures the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and the stewardship of the company's accounting policies, systems, and internal controls. The CAO serves as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team while providing leadership to the accounting team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage allday-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Ensure timely and accuratemonthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
• Maintain compliance withGAAP,IRS regulations, and other accounting standards.
• Lead preparation offinancial statements, management reports, and audit documentation.
• Develop and maintain robustinternal controlsto safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Oversee all external audits and coordinate withindependent auditors.
• Ensure timely and accuratetax filingsand other regulatory reports.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
• Manage treasury function including receivables, disbursements, bank reconciliation, and cash flow
• Implement and optimizeaccounting systems and processesto support scalability.
• Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices, recommending changes as needed.
