We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Davenport or Burlington, Iowa. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and resolve complex network-related issues to ensure smooth system functionality.
  • Design, implement, and integrate new networking hardware and services to enhance infrastructure performance.
  • Monitor network activity and performance using advanced tools to proactively address potential disruptions.
  • Establish and maintain robust network security protocols, including firewalls and encryption technologies.
  • Develop and update comprehensive network documentation to support operational efficiency.
  • Provide clear and regular updates to stakeholders regarding project progress and network health.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Manage and maintain enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and server hardware.
  • Oversee the configuration and management of network devices, including routers and switches.
  • Optimize backup technologies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows and Mac systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with Cisco routers and backup technologies.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
