Our behavioral health clinic is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (General or Child / Adolescent) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. This role offers the flexibility of part-time hours and the warmth of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment — the perfect blend for those looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.

🍂 The Main Course : Role Overview

Location : Onsite in San Jose, CA

Schedule : 16 hours per week (two 8-hour days or four 4-hour days; consistent each week)

Clinic Hours : 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Commitment : Minimum of 6 months

You’ll work with patients aged 5 and up (approximately 70% adults / 30% children & adolescents) presenting with developmental delays and co-occurring mental health diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and intermittent explosive disorder.

🥧 The Side Dishes : Key Details

Caseload : 8–12 patients per day

Appointment Lengths :

30–45 minutes for med checks and follow-ups

60–90 minutes for new evaluations (90 for child / adolescent)

Team : 13 Psychiatrists, 20 Therapists, 2 LVNs, Case Managers, Psych Techs, and 1 PNP

Reports To : Manager of Medical Operations

Onboarding : 30 days

Board Certification required (General Psychiatry acceptable; extensive experience may substitute)

EMR : Avatar

Licensure : Active Medicare and Medi-Cal numbers

Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese a plus, but not required
