Tax Payment Specialist (Accounts Payable)

Summary :

The Accounts Payable Specialist (Property Tax Payments) will locate and process client tax bills, verify payments, and maintain accurate records.

Job Responsibilities :

• Organize all received tax bills for assigned clients
• Find missing tax bills by interfacing with various government databases
• Identify specific information including payee, amount due and due date
• Enter tax bill information into Advantax's compliance processing software
• Update required process tracking documents
• Review that information entered matches information received
• Provide weekly missing tax bill reports
• Scan tax bills and save to the Advantax server
• Create tax bill invoicing for client's review and approval
• Prepare tax bill payments for mailing
• Seasonally assist with entry of tax assessment notices
• Seasonally assist with tracking of assessor inquiries on Advantax system
• Additional responsibilities as necessary, identified by Advantax management
