Bellecour Bistro, Gavin Kaysen’s French-influenced bistro in the North Loop neighborhood of Downtown Minneapolis, is looking for  Server Assistants  who embodies the restaurant's culture of genuine hospitality. Server Assistant / Food Runners are responsible for the quick, careful, and knowledgeable delivery of every dish to our guests, and for providing assistance to the server and bartender teams.

Timeline : Training to begin mid-November for an anticipated late November opening.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Delivering all dishes from the kitchen to the dining room and bar
  • Describing dishes confidently and accurately
  • Clearing and resetting tables
  • Polishing dining room mise en place and restocking service stations, including the bar, throughout the night

Required Skill Set and Knowledge :

  • Ability to think and communicate clearly in high pressure situations
  • In depth knowledge of menu, ingredients, and cooking techniques
  • Confidence in communicating with guests.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for up to 10-12 hours
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
