Job Specifics

• Location : 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
• Hours : Full-Time 0.8 FTE (32 hours / week)
• Work Schedule : various days Monday - Friday starting between 5 : 15 am - 8 : 00 am with on-call rotations (6-9 weekends per year, 2-3 weekdays / month, and one holiday / year)

Job Description :

Responsible for quality care of gastroenterology patients under the direct supervision of the Provider / Registered Nurse. Maintains a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsible for setting up gastrointestinal (GI) cases along with cleaning and high level disinfection of endoscopes and accessories. Assists and informs physicians of relevant information. Demonstrates competency, efficiency, and leadership in performing gastrointestinal procedures and in applying new technology. Maintains patient treatment area with a coordinated, efficient schedule and team for emergent and scheduled procedures. Records nursing care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient's condition; consults with RN / Provider when uncertain about nursing or medical act; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members.
