Summary :

The Program Manager Surgical Services partners with senior leadership, physicians, managers, and staff to plan, organize, direct, execute and / or facilitate programs related to pediatric patients requiring surgery. Coordinates with patients, their families and providers to facilitate care. Promotes collaboration among the health care team to provide developmentally appropriate care, referrals, and discharge planning for patients. Develops and provides educational programs to meet the needs of the clinical staff. Participates in research and / or quality improvement initiatives. Serves as an expert and a resource to staff, physicians, patients and visitors.
