🏥 Night-Shift RN – Stepdown / IMC (13-Week Travel Contract)
📍 Location : 1200 J. D. Anderson Dr, Morgantown, WV 26505
🕒 Shift : Nights — 3 × 12-hour shifts (19 : 00–07 : 00), weekdays + some weekends
📅 Duration : 13 weeks, ASAP start — with possible extension
🌟 Unit Overview — Stepdown / Intermediate Care Unit
Caring for patients stepping down from ICU — those requiring close monitoring but not full ICU level. Typical ratio : 1 : 4 , flex to 1 : 5 during higher census / emergencies.Great opportunity for RNs experienced in MS / Telemetry or Stepdown — providing transitional care in a structured, yet dynamic environment.🎯 Who We Need – Ideal Candidate Profile
RN with 1.5–2+ years of RN experience , including at least 1 year in MS / Telemetry or Stepdown care .Proficient in IV starts, telemetry monitoring , and basic critical-care / stepdown skills.Certifications : BCLS and ACLS required.Comfortable with night shifts, some weekends , and occasional float assignments.Able to accurately read cardiac / telemetry strips and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.🩺 What You’ll Do — Responsibilities
Provide safe, efficient nursing care to stepdown / IMC patients overnight — monitor vitals, cardiac telemetry, IVs, medications, and respond to patient needs. Kaplan Community Career Center+1Collaborate with interdisciplinary team — follow care plans, document changes, escalate as needed, and help ensure continuity from ICU → Stepdown → floor or discharge.Stay vigilant for acuity changes — adjust care accordingly, manage telemetry, administer medications, and support transitional careAbout HonorVet Technologies
