The practice involves a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, OB-Gyn, and pediatric dentistry.

Coverage Needed : Oct 17-24 (7a7a)

The hours would be 7a to 3p and after hours call time is supervising CRNAs for OR cases every night, call back is not that heavy usually.

Job Details :

• Both Inpatient & Outpatient
• Call is nightly for the duration of the 5 weekdays
• 24hr call only on the weekend; shared with the CRNA
• MDA only required to come in for OR cases; CRNAs perform labor epidurals on-call
• MDA provides CRNA supervision during the day and call case coverage at night
• Established practice with existing physician
• # of surgical cases per month : 170-200
• B&B cases : GS / ENT / Ortho / OB-Gyn / Cataracts / Peds Dental
• No ICU / Critical Care Duties
• Must be able to provide anesthesia independently
• Must be comfortable providing Pediatric Anesthesia on healthy children
