Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Client's team.

Role Overview

Client seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to help lead several IT initiatives underway. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional executive teams to support various IT initiatives as required, and assist in managing expectations throughout the IT transformation journey. This position reports into the Director of IT & BI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders across the organization to identify and solve operational and execution issues
  • Distill technical issues to executives for clear understanding of the risks and trade-offs
  • Ensure the team priorities are in support of the overall IT roadmap
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
  • Provides guidance and leadership to the IT project teams to ensure the successful completion of IT projects under management.
  • Develops IT project implementation strategies and oversees implements the project scope.
  • Assists in the development and execution of the project plan and change management strategies.
  • Facilitates and leads regular status meetings ensuring alignment with the project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
  • Proactively monitors and manages project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure the project stays on track for all assigned client projects.

Core Professional Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in IT leadership role working in complex environments.
  • Working knowledge of project management tracking tools like Smartsheet and / or MS Project.
  • Other Skills

  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Role Type / Travel

  • Role Type :  Remote / Hybrid.
  • Travel :  10-20% travel to various client sites throughout US and to Mexico as required to support transformation efforts.
  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of project leadership / management experience
